This inlet crimp connection is suitable for connections on 1 and 3 phases. This makes it a product that is suitable for providing a self-build EV with a type 2 connection on the car. The type 2 inlet 16A/32A crimp connection is also suitable for enabling the source side for charging the electric car. Since this is a crimp connection, a crimping tool is required to mount the inlet contact. It is wise to call in a professional if you are unable to do this yourself, as is the case when mounting charging stations and other electrical systems.
