Why Hyundai Charging Solutions Are Different

Hyundai’s electric models, such as the IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6 and KONA Electric, are equipped with advanced charging technologies. Thanks to the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), these vehicles support both 400V and 800V charging infrastructures. This means that at fast-charging stations with a capacity of up to 350 kW, you can charge your battery from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. Charging at home is also efficient, with a maximum AC charging capacity of 11 kW, allowing your vehicle to be fully charged overnight.

Charging at home or on the go? This suits Hyundai drivers

Home charging: With your own charging point, you can charge your Hyundai at your energy supplier's regular energy rate. Hyundai is working with Vattenfall InCharge to offer a future-proof charging package, including Dynamic Home Load Balancing. This system optimally distributes the available power capacity of your home, so that you can charge safely and efficiently.

Public charging: For on the go, Hyundai offers the Charge myHyundai service, giving you access to more than 500,000 public charging points in 30 European countries. Through the Charge myHyundai app, you can easily find charging stations, filter by plug type and charging speed, and receive real-time updates on prices and availability.

Which charging cables, chargers and stations are suitable?

For home use, a 3-phase charging station with a capacity of up to 22 kW is ideal to get the most out of your Hyundai. Hyundai's collaboration with Vattenfall InCharge ensures that the charging stations are also suitable for future Hyundai models.

Along the way, you can use public charging stations that are compatible with the Type 2 (Mennekes) connection, the standard for European electric vehicles. With support for both AC and DC charging, including fast charging, you are assured of flexible charging options during your travels.
