Which battery charger fits your Hitachi or HiKOKI tools?
Hitachi Power Tools has been officially called HiKOKI since 2018, but many batteries and chargers are interchangeable. The most commonly used voltage ranges are 14.4V, 18V and 36V Li-ion batteries, often in combination with the slide-type mounting system. For these batteries, chargers such as the UC18YFSL, UC18YSL3 and the UC36YSL are common models. Our replacement chargers are technically compatible with these systems and support both standard and Multi Volt batteries.
Do you have older tools on NiMH technology? Then a specific charger is required, because they use a different charging curve. Most modern HiKOKI chargers support fast charging, voltage detection and temperature protection for Li-ion batteries from 14.4V to 36V. This way you always choose a charger that fits your machine and usage pattern.
Battery chargers and capacity: what suits your working method?
A charger with a fast charge function will significantly reduce your charging time. An 18V 3.0Ah battery will be fully charged in approximately 45 minutes with a modern HiKOKI charger. A 5.0Ah or 6.0Ah battery will take a little longer, but with a charger such as the UC18YSL3 you will be at 100% within an hour. Our chargers are equipped with protection against overcharging, overheating and short circuit, and have been tested for durability and safety in combination with original HiKOKI batteries.
